The Mistake
So, I am not a coffee drinker. Actually, I don’t drink any caffeinated drinks at all. In a social setting, however, I would drink occasionally a cup of decaf Mocca just for the sake of hanging out with friends. The last time I did it, I forgot to ask for the decaf and ended up drinking the regular version of it. Then, I received some shocking news at work, and by the time I went home, I was already experiencing the jitters. I couldn’t even tell if it was the physical effect of the caffeine or the mental effects of the shocking news. I must have been quite out of my mind because I remember sitting on the couch and wondering what I could possibly do to help myself stop the jitters and feel better.
Jin Shin Jyutsu to the Rescue
As usual, my Jin Shin Jyutsu cards saved the day (see Health Is In Your Hands by Waltraud Riegger-Krause). Whenever I am at a loss, or whenever I wish to study something outside my usual favorites, I like to pull a random card.
I relaxed as much as I could, then shuffled the cards, closed my eyes, and randomly pulled a card. Surprise! It was Safety Energy Lock #23. By then, I already had my 6-year daughter hovering over me and offering to help. She always loves to help with the application of Jin Shin Jyutsu flows. So, I let her place her hand in the small of the back in the area of Safety Energy Lock #23. Within less than 5 minutes, the jitters were gone.
Hindside and Other Considerations
In a hindside, I asked myself why I hadn’t thought of Safety Energy Lock #23 in the first place. After all, every instructor at every JSJ seminar I have attended has always mentioned the clearing of chemicals effect of the Safety Energy Lock #23. Perhaps, it was the mental disturbance from the unpleasant and unexpected news at work that blindsided me. Or, perhaps, I needed to experience the function of Safety Energy Lock 23 directly to finally know rather than simply believe. Come to think of it – it wasn’t just the physical jitters. The name of Safety Energy Lock23 is the “Controller of Our Destiny”, so it must have helped me regain control over my mental state as well as the physical body.

Sickness usually has spiritual roots and without knowing the specific conditions of your friend, I would recommend simply holding the 15s. This is to help before and after the surgery. 15 resonates very strongly with our physical body and can help us recover from surgery. It is also easy to hold. Blessings, Tatiana
